Maintenance

Our furniture and home accessories, made from resin wicker and aluminium, are waterproof and soil-resistant, so they are easy-care and practically maintenance free.

If you wish to clean the furniture, we recommend the following process:

Resin wicker & aluminium furniture and accessories: easy care – clean with mild soap and cold water. You can also use a soft brush, or clean with just water.

Table tops with resin wicker: easy care – clean with mild soap and cold water. You can also use a soft brush, or clean with just water.

Stone: clean with warm water. Use water and mild soap flakes from time to time. Do not use chemicals as this may damage the joints and the stone. Never use harsh cleaners, including bleach, to clean the stone.

Cushions: the outdoor cushion covers are washable and shower-proof. You can easily wipe away water drops on outdoor cushions if they are caught in a rain shower, but they will not remain waterproof if immersed in water or left outside in the rain for long periods. So please store cushions inside or cover when not in use to maximize life. Our indoor decorative cushions are hand-wash only unless otherwise labelled.

Teak wood:please treat teak with teak oil before use and regularly (at least once a year, depending on climate and whether the table is under cover); this will help you to keep your teak beautiful and maximize its life. Without this treatment it may acquire a silver grey or dark patina. Please only treat the wood with teak oil when it is completely dry.
